I\’ve been working on a \’pattern book\’ recently, just a few images repeating different ideas and concepts of the same thing. As a way to break out of the repetition – which I can feel being an issue with my art – a bit and expand on my already existing list of skills.

My son has been rather poorly this week, so this pattern book has helped me already – I\’ve been looking at more organic forms this week and using them in simple doodles like this to help me relax after looking after a sick three year old (He is on the mend now, thankfully)

It was nice to do something a bit out of the \’norm\’ and do something simple while practicing my core skills too.
