Raygun Raptor

On the back of my Hobby Motivation post, I managed to get this little critter finished off.

He is a Raygun Raptor and he appeared in my Festive Mystery Box from We Print Miniatures. The first of my backlog to get cleared – although he hasn\’t really been there that long.

As I said in my previous post, sometimes it\’s nice to be able to work on a model that doesn\’t fit anywhere else or have any specific requirements in terms of paint scheme.

Speaking of which, I had no idea how to paint this guy, other than to try to avoid using red! So, I did a good-olde-google search for \’Toy Dinosaurs\’ because I was after something fun and colourful. This pack came up pretty quickly in the search and there was one that stood out as something I wanted to try out – I think it\’s obvious which one!

Although, mine did somehow turn out looking more like a Double Decker than I first anticipated! I\’m not complaining, Double Deckers are delicious!

This is the first 3D printed miniature I\’ve painted. I don\’t know what I was expecting, but the quality of it was so much better than I thought it would be!

So, 1/75 in the backlog done. I\’ll have to get the Kiddo to decide which one is next to tackle!
