I was walking home from dropping the kiddo off at school and the urge to draw… something came over me. So, when I got home and settle, I picked on Scykhe as a victim to draw a bust of as a one of the Lamenter Legion.
This, and another post I share on the good olde \’gram, was seen by Wolvey_Paints and one thing led to another… and I ended up with a fair few commissions! It made for a nice, refreshing change and it\’s also re-inspired me to start drawing again.
Funny how these things go!

People use them on Twitter & Instagram.
They send me a picture of themselves and tell which Space Marine Chapter they’d like to belong too and I draw it for them – for a minimal fee!
It’s a lot of fun seeing what people pick and choose. (And the money helps for buying more books!)

May 17, 2021 - 11:54 pm ·Pretty cool. I didn’t realize (or forgot is more likely) you do these for people (and £€$). How long does it take you to knock one out? I see the perfect lines and details and think this has to take hours and hours!! You are so talented Jenn!

May 18, 2021 - 6:42 am ·I’ve not done them for a while – needed a break from them – so it’s nice to be able to get back to them.
I charge £15 per bust, gives me some pocket money for books and hobby stuff!
All together they take between an hour to an hour and a half, depending on the details in them! The lines take the longest.
