I painted up this Stormcast during last years Paint-a-thon and he has been sat in the living room display cabinet ever since next to my Badgers and Burrows miniatures.

I saw him the other day while having a snoop and realised that his base hadn\’t been touched. If he is to remain on display, then that needed to change! So I finished off his base to be like those around him – some sort of lush meadow.

Personally, I think he looks a lot more complete now that his base has been finished off.
Looking at this model again has made me interested in collecting Stormcast, not sure if I\’d continue with the Imperial Fist colour scheme though! Also, reading Sacroscant, a short story collection about Stormcasts, has influenced this urge. Must resist!!
