Semi Colon

\"Squid.jpg\"

I have been encouraged to give this sort of artwork another try – it\’s always been lurking in the back of my mind – and now that the kiddo has started nursery part-time I feel like I\’ll be able to throw myself into it with more vigour.

What better way than to refresh the blog with some artwork of a semi-colon?

In grammar, a semi-colon is used when a sentence should have ended but didn\’t.

\”A semicolon is most commonly used to link (in a single sentence) two independent clauses that are closely related in thought. When a semicolon is used to join two or more ideas (parts) in a sentence, those ideas are then given equal position or rank.\”

So maybe using it as a bridge between what has come before now and the future gives it a deeper meaning?

Either way, I feel like I am ready to give sharing my artwork another try and with gentle support, encouragement and enthusiasm, I know I can make it.
